REGIONAL FINALS: North American Regional Finals at Red Bull Conquest
The final event of the 2018 Capcom Pro Tour season is coming up this weekend. North America Regional Finals at Red Bull Conquest will take place at Washington DC, USA from November 17th through 18th. Competition will be high as players on the bubble attempt to secure a qualifying spot at Capcom Cup in December and qualified players try to improve their positions on the leaderboard for seeding purposes.
A Regional Final works a bit differently than a standard Premier Event in that it’s really two events in one. The first event is the Regional Final Open Tournament that anyone can enter. Global and Regional Ranking Points will be awarded for top 48 placements. This event will take place on Saturday, November 17th and top 8 will conclude on Sunday, November 18th. The second event will be the Regional Final Tournament which will be composed of the top 8 players from the CPT North America leaderboard! The winner of this event will be crowned the Regional Champion and will be awarded an automatic qualification for Capcom Cup 2018 (If they aren’t already qualified via points)! This event will take place on Sunday, November 18th, after the top 8 for the Open Tournament. Once again, see the Rules page for full details.
