Japan Cup 2016 Information and Player List
If you’ve been following along with us so far this year you know that the 2016 Capcom Pro Tour season is moving at an incredible pace, with some weekends having up to five CPT events! It’s been a little while since we’ve had a Premier Event, however, but those will get more frequent as well starting in September.
The next Premier Event we have in store is Japan Cup, which takes place at Tokyo Game Show 2016. The event takes place in Tokyo, Japan on September 17th and 18th.
Like previous Tokyo Game Show Premier Events, the format for Japan Cup will be a bit different from most other Premier Events. The tournament is limited to 256 players who are invited to take part, with some spots filled by lottery. Just take a look at the short list of players that are among those 256 and you can see the level of competition we have in store, with players from around the world taking part!
