FFM-Rumble #8, held in Frankfurt, Germany, has concluded and MD|Luffy has taken 1st place. He won all the way through the Winners Bracket, but it wasn’t an easy road as there was a lot of stiff competition as well as a few surprises.
/r/Kappa|Poongko’s only losses were both to Luffy. Luffy sent Poongko to the Losers Bracket to face MBA|infexious in Losers Finals. Poongko defeated infexious and had a rematch against Luffy in Grand Finals.
The first match and a half of Grand Finals saw “Angry Poongko” making it look easy, but Luffy turned the tide, slowed down Poongko’s pace, and the rest settled into a close back and forth with Luffy coming out on top.
One of the big thrills of the event was seeing infexious and his Hugo do big damage and make big clutch plays. He managed to knock MCZ|Tokido out of the tournament in a match with hype levels off the charts! As mentioned above, he was finally eliminated by Poongko in Losers Finals.
